Abstract

The invention relates to a dual-energy electron linear accelerator based on a hybrid traveling wave accelerating structure. The dual-energy electron linear accelerator comprises a power source system, a power divider, the hybrid traveling wave accelerating structure and a microwave power recovery system which are connected in sequence, wherein the power source system is used for supplying pulse microwave power and simultaneously outputting a 180-degree phase overturning signal at a preset moment; an input port connected with the power source system and two output ports are formed in the power divider; and the hybrid traveling wave accelerating structure comprises a prewave acceleration segment and a backwave acceleration segment connected with the two output ports of the power divider respectively. The filling time of the pulse microwave power in the accelerating structure can be greatly shortened by using the hybrid traveling wave accelerating structure; and adjustable energy storage time of an energy multiplier can be realized by controlling the time node of generating the 180-degree phase overturning signal, so that adjustable output power level of the energy multiplier is realized, and then adjustable speediness of electron beam energy is realized.
