The device comprises a calibrating subsystem, a light source subsystem, an image acquisition subsystem and an image processing subsystem, wherein the calibrating subsystem is used for calibrating the turbidity and fitting a relation expression between the turbidity T and the RGB value of a shot image; the light source subsystem is used for generating monochromatic lights, controlling the on-off of a monochromatic LED light source and controlling a wiper to regularly clean the external surface of a light source eyeglass; the image acquisition subsystem is used for acquiring the water image and controlling the wiper to regularly clean the external surface of the light source eyeglass; and the image processing subsystem is used for processing the information of the image shot by a CCD camera and calculating the turbidity according to the fitted relation expression obtained by the calibrating subsystem.
