Benefits of technology

This patented technology allows for precise measurement of blood flow velocity without causing damage or discomfort during surgery procedures. By placing an implant inside this system, it becomes more effective at regulating fluid flows within body organs such as liver arteries.

Problems solved by technology

This patents describes various ways to treat liver cancer such as partial removal of the gallblasts from its rootlets before treatment. One approach involves stopping certain parts of the gut lining upstream to block off any remaining ones while leaving other areas unblockable. Another option involve performing an open procedure where only some small holes remain inside the body's circulation systems. These approaches aim at reducing patient-related issues like abdominal pain, bowel rupture, cardiovasculatory problem, etc., resulting in improved outcomes compared to traditional procedures.

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of medical instruments, and especially relates to a pressure selective hepatic inflow occlusion apparatus which comprises a movable end, a fixed end, a pressure transducer, a controller and a display screen, wherein the movable end is provided with a deformable hollow U-shaped ring, the fixed end controls the contraction and expansion of the two sidewalls of the hollow U-shaped ring through a regulating part, the pressure transducer is arranged on the inner bottom of the hollow U-shaped ring, and the pressure transducer and the display screen are electrically connected with the controller. The pressure selective hepatic inflow occlusion apparatus is delicate in design and convenient to control and can quantitatively occlude different blood vessels of a hepatic portal according to pressure.
