Embodiment 1

[0053] Taking the electric arc furnace load widely used in industry as an example, the electronic trip detection error caused by distorted current is analyzed. Using computer simulation software to build a model of a typical nonlinear load electric arc furnace system, the results are as follows: Figure 7 The electric arc furnace melting period current waveform shown. The waveform is a typical peak wave, which can be approximately equivalent to a triangular wave, and the duty cycle of the equivalent triangular wave is 0.7. The peak value of the positive half cycle of the waveform is 2900A, the mean value of the positive half cycle is 1160A, and the effective value is 1530A. The waveform corresponding to the detection error of the two detection methods and the detection error value of the approximate triangular wave are shown in Table 2, and the detection error of the approximate triangular wave is equivalent to the actual waveform. The effective value obtained by the electri...

Abstract

The invention relates to a distortion current detection error calibration method of an electric release. By use of a peak coefficient K

and a waveform coefficient K<W> of distortion currents, influences exerted by two typical distortion current waveforms, i.e., triangular waves and rectangular waves on detection errors of the electric release under peak value current detection and mean value current detection methods are analyzed. Errors of peak value detection and mean value detection under different distortion current waveforms can be seen through a peak value detection error curve and a mean value detection error curve. According to a current waveform feature and a detection error curve of a nonlinear load, action current setting values are properly adjusted, and the phenomenon of frequent misoperation of the electronic release due to the distortion currents can be avoided to a certain degree.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for calibrating the distortion current detection error of an electronic release. Background technique [0002] In recent years, many factories and enterprises have experienced the problem of unreasonable tripping of low-voltage circuit breakers caused by non-faulty actions of electronic trippers. The resulting power outages not only threaten equipment and personal safety, but also cause serious economic losses. The survey found that the loads of these low-voltage distribution networks are mainly large-capacity UPS, variable frequency speed-regulating motors, rectifiers, and typical nonlinear loads of electric arc furnaces. During their work, the current will produce serious distortion, which is causing the electronic release. One of the main causes of non-fault action. The IEEE Power System Reliability Committee has also investigated the reliability of low-voltage circuit breakers, and the results show that the trippi...
