Abstract

The invention provides a route obtaining method and device in a cluster system. The method is applied to an appointed cluster device which operates a link state route protocol in the cluster system. The method comprises the steps of obtaining address information of a CPU on the cluster device in a machine frame wherein a device is located after a neighbor relationship between the device and the directly connected opposite end appointed cluster device is established, wherein the address information is composed of an ID of the machine frame where the cluster device is located, the ID of a slot where the cluster device is located and the ID of the CPU, the cluster device is an MPU (Master Process Unit), CCU (Central Control Unit) or LPU (Line Process Unit), and the appointed cluster device which operates the link state route protocol is the MPU or CCU; sending a link state route protocol message carrying the obtained address information; receiving the link state route protocol message carrying the address information; and for each piece of address information carried in the received link state route protocol message, calculating a route from the device to the CPU marked by the address information by employing an SPF (Shortest Path First) protocol.
