Abstract

An event log which is described in an XES format is used as an input, and a scientific workflow in an SVG format is used as an output result. The method comprises the steps of firstly, analyzing an XES file, generating a corresponding event sequence set, and finishing excavation of an in-cloud scientific workflow; then, finishing excavation of an over-cloud scientific workflow according to the information log of each cloud calculating platform; and finally, performing arranging, combining and simplifying on a total scientific workflow in a whole cloud platform league, thereby obtaining an over-cloud scientific workflow. The workflow graph excavated through the method has higher completeness, high accuracy and high reliability. The workflow graph more approaches an actual scientific workflow process. Furthermore compared with previous excavation in a single platform, the over-cloud scientific workflow excavation method has advantages of greatly reducing time cost and reducing data excavation load in the single platform.
