The hybrid automobile comprises a whole vehicle controller, wheel hub motors, a high-voltage battery and a power generating device, wherein the whole vehicle controller is used for monitoring the operation state of an automobile; one wheel hub motor is arranged on each wheel; the high-voltage battery is connected with the whole vehicle controller and the wheel hub motors; the power generating device is connected with the whole vehicle controller and charges the high-voltage battery according to a signal transmitted by the whole vehicle controller; when the electric quantity of the high-voltage battery is greater than a preset threshold, the whole vehicle controller distributes the electric quantity to the wheel hub motors on all the wheels according to the operation state of the automobile and the electric quantity of the high-voltage battery, and transmits corresponding electric quantity to all the wheel hub motors through the high-voltage battery; when the electric quantity of the high-voltage battery is smaller than or equal to the preset threshold, the whole vehicle controller controls the power generating device to charge the high-voltage battery, and distributes the electric quantity to the wheel hub motors on all the wheels according to the operation state of the automobile and the electric quantity of the high-voltage battery.
