Abstract

The selection method comprises the steps of sending each node broadcasting message in the body area network, wherein the message comprises remaining energy information and data volume information of broadcasting nodes; determining channel state information with the nodes broadcasting the message by the nodes which receive the message; and determining cluster-head nodes based on the remaining energy information, the data volume information and the channel state information of each node. Therefore, the impact of a channel state among the nodes, data volume of sensor nodes and remaining energy on a life cycle of the whole body area network can be considered more reasonably and comprehensively; the network failure due to a fact that a single sensor node has no energy is avoided; and the life cycle of the whole body area network is effectively prolonged.
