Abstract

An embodiment of the invention provides a method and a device for determining the upper limit of physical properties of tight oil reservoirs. The method includes carrying out fine reservoir description on the target low-permeability oil reservoirs and acquiring fine geological models of the target low-permeability oil reservoirs; determining objective intervals in the target low-permeability oil reservoirs according to the fine geological models; acquiring air permeability and starting pressure gradient data of rock core samples in the objective intervals and generating relation curves of air permeability and starting pressure gradients; determining air permeability corresponding to abrupt change points in the relation curves. Preset conditions are met by the objective intervals. The abrupt change points are points with the maximum curvature in the relation curves. The method and the device in the embodiment of the invention have the advantages that the upper limit of the physical properties of the tight oil reservoirs can be quantitatively determined by the aid of the method and the device, and accordingly development modes can be scientifically and reasonably selected in operation sites under the guidance.
