The friend-making social method comprises steps that according to face images of user selfies, 68 key point coordinates of every face are identified by adopting a face identification technology; the key point coordinates are calculated and switched to from face key indexes, which are stored in a structural database, and the structural database is used as the face file index database of the users; the dimension reduction of the plurality of indexes of the face files is carried out to extract representative fields, which are used to form characteristic face vectors used for distinguishing the users; by comparing the similarity between the characteristic face vectors of the users, stars or community users, who look like the above mentioned users, are recommended for the users, and the stars or the community users and the users can make friends. By analyzing the face images of the users, the users can find the similar brothers and sisters in a population. By calculating the similarity between the users and the stars, transmissibility is improved.
