Abstract

The temperature control system comprises a furnace door switch, a solid-state relay, heating wires and a thermoelectric couple. A static contact of the furnace door switch is connected with one input control end of the solid-state relay, and a movable contact of the furnace door switch is connected with the other input control end of the solid-state relay. The movable contact and the static contact of the furnace door switch are connected when a furnace door is closed and disconnected when the furnace door is opened. One output end of the solid-state relay is connected with a mains supply, and the other output end of the solid-state relay is connected with the heating wires. A temperature detection unit of the thermoelectric couple detects the temperature of a heating unit where the heating wires are located, and the output end of the thermoelectric couple is connected with a main control module of the electric smelting furnace.
