Problems solved by technology

These devices all have the disadvantage that chains or links can only be connected by connecting elements such as shackles, snap hooks or loops
Even if this problem is solved by DE 201 21 118 U1 tie-down or connecting device with fork crown and locking bolt, this tie-down or connecting device can only be used for a limited range of application straps or ropes
Furthermore, laterally transmitted forces are limited by the open structure of the crown

Embodiment Construction

[0049] The structure of the ring element 1 was first depicted in figure 1 and figure 2 middle. The ring element 1 is in particular used to connect round slings made of high strength textile fibers such as ultra high molecular weight polyethylene (UHMWPE).

[0050] The ring element 1 has a ring portion 2 which encloses a ring opening 4 . The annular part 2 opens out on the fixed-side lower region 6 . There, the connecting channel 8 leads into the annular opening. The connecting channel opens on the load side or the lifting mechanism side and extends continuously perpendicular to the annular opening 4 . The base 10 is used to fix the ring element 1 indirectly or directly to a lifting mechanism (not shown) of a load (not shown) or to a belaying device (not shown) such as a chain adjuster. The bases 10 are separated by connecting channels 8 . The ring portion 2 is closed in a direction away from the base 10 .

[0051] Such as figure 1 As shown, the base 10 may have two se...

Abstract

The invention discloses a ring element having a divided base for a lashing or attachment means. The invention relates to a ring element (1) for a lashing or attachment means (40), comprising a base (10) and a ring segment (2), which is closed oppositely to the base (10) and which spans a ring opening (4). According to the invention, in order to be able to simply attach, in particular, loop-shaped cables or bands, but also attachment means such as shackles, master links, and eye hooks, the base (10) is divided by an attachment channel (8) extending into the ring opening (4). A closure element (42), which is designed in such a way that the closure element can be inserted into the attachment channel (8), ends preferably flush with the base (10).

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to an annular element for a belay or connection device, having a base and an annular portion opposite the base and having an annular opening. Background technique [0002] A ring element having these features is known, for example, from patent DE 201 21 123 U1. A chain, rope or strap may be attached to the loop portion. The ring element is fixedly mounted on the load by its base so that the load can be locked or moved by chains, ropes or straps. [0003] Other designs of latches or connecting devices are known from DE 85 08 172 U1, DE 295 13 183 U1, DE 201 21 121 U1 and DE 10 2009 040 524 A1. These devices all have the disadvantage that the chains or links can only be connected by connecting elements such as shackles, snap hooks or loops. Even if this problem is solved by the tie-down or connection device of DE 201 21 118 U1 with fork crown and locking bolt, this tie-down or connection device can only be used for a limited rang...
