The mistaken-injury-preventing sterilization method comprises the following steps of starting the sterilization module for performing sterilization on a sterilization object; detecting whether a third object enters an early-warning area which comprises the sterilization object; and if yes, transmitting alarm information to outside. According to the mistaken-injury-preventing sterilization method and the mobile terminal, in the sterilization process, if entering of the early-warning area by the third object is detected, the alarm information is instantly transmitted to outside for reminding a user, thereby preventing mistaken injury of the user or other personnel who enter the early-warning area by ultraviolet ray.
