The touch control display panel comprises a first touch control electrode layer, a second touch control electrode layer, a first integrated circuit and a plurality of switch units, wherein the first touch control electrode layer comprises multiple first touch control electrodes extending in the first direction; the second touch control electrode layer comprises M rows and N columns of second touch control electrodes; a forward projection of each first touch control electrode on the second touch control electrode layer and the corresponding second touch control electrodes of one row of second touch control electrodes of the second touch control electrode layer are at least partly overlapped; the first integrated circuit is used for applying touch control drive signals on the second touch control electrodes in the touch control scanning period; each switch unit comprises a control end used for electrically connecting or disconnecting the second touch control electrodes in the same column, in the second touch control electrode layer under the control of input signals. According to the scheme, the touch control display panel is switched between a mutual capacitance type touch detection framework and a self capacitance touch detection framework, and accordingly touch detection precision and sensitivity in severe environments are improved.
