Abstract

The embodiment of the invention discloses a method of executing downlink transmission in a base station end of a millimeter wave system and a device thereof. The method comprises steps: downlink reference signals are determined for each user side; one port for executing downlink transmission is allocated for the downlink reference signals of each user side; the downlink reference signals corresponding to each port are mapped to at least one resource element; and the corresponding downlink reference signals are transmitted on the at least one resource element. The embodiment of the invention also discloses a method of executing downlink transmission in a user side of the millimeter wave system and a device thereof. The method comprises steps: downlink reference signals are acquired from at least one resource element in a resource sub area; and the downlink reference signals are used for demodulating a physical downlink control channel and / or a physical downlink data channel.
