Problems solved by technology

Chemical drugs include sulfonylureas, biguanides, thiazolidinediones, α-glucosidase inhibitors, etc. However, these chemical drugs have side effects and cause damage to the health of patients
At present, there is no published literature mentioning that the exopolysaccharide of Trichomonas granulosa YM216 (the inventor's own numbering code) with the preservation number CCTCC M 2016603 is modified to carboxymethylation by carboxymethylation Polysaccharides, and reports on their application in the preparation of hypoglycemic drugs

Abstract

The invention discloses a carboxymethylated lachnum extracellular polysaccharide prepared by modifying a lachnum YM216 extracellular polysaccharide with the strain preservation number of CCTCC (China Center For Type Culture Collection) M 2016603, and application of the carboxymethylated lachnum extracellular polysaccharide to a hypoglycemic drug. A pharmacodynamics test shows that the carboxymethylated lachnum extracellular polysaccharide can be used for remarkably improving the glucose tolerance and body weight of type II diabetic mice induced by high-fat feed and streptozotocin and lowering glycosylated hemoglobin, fasting plasma glucose levels and serum insulin levels, and has a good blood glucose lowering function; furthermore, the carboxymethylated lachnum extracellular polysaccharide can be used for up-regulating the expression of glucokinase and adenosine monophosphate-activated protein kinase and down-regulating the expression of 6-phosphatase. By adopting the method disclosed by the invention, the blood glucose lowering activity of an original lachnum extracellular polysaccharide can be improved; the carboxymethylated lachnum extracellular polysaccharide has no toxic side effect and has positive meanings on an application range of the polysaccharide.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of application of carboxymethylated Trichodesia exopolysaccharide in preparation of medicines, and in particular relates to carboxymethylated Trichodesma exopolysaccharide and its use as a hypoglycemic drug. Background technique [0002] Polysaccharides widely exist in higher plants, algae, fungi and animals, and are one of the most abundant biopolymers in nature. Diabetes is a series of metabolic disorders of sugar, protein, fat, water and electrolytes caused by relative or absolute deficiency of insulin secretion or defect of insulin action. Treatment for diabetes usually includes exercise, diet, oral hypoglycemic drugs, and insulin therapy. Chemical drugs include sulfonylureas, biguanides, thiazolidinediones, α-glucosidase inhibitors, etc. However, these chemical drugs have side effects and cause damage to the health of patients. In recent years, polysaccharides that can treat diabetes and have no toxic...
