Problems solved by technology

[0009] 1. The price of a single micro-cloud is too expensive for a single mobile user, and mobile users are often unable to afford it alone
[0010] 2. The resource capacity of a single micro-cloud is often much larger than the load of a single mobile user, and the one-to-one resource allocation method is likely to cause waste of micro-cloud resources
[0011] 3. If only one mobile user is selected as the winner for Weiyun in each round of resource auction, it will take a lot of time, which greatly reduces the overall timeliness of the system and is also very unfavorable for those delay-sensitive tasks among mobile users (such as augmented reality, etc.)

Embodiment

[0046] Such as figure 1 In the given network shown:

[0047] Algorithm 1 is used in the first stage of the auction, the access node (AP) collects the information of each micro-cloud {C k}'s overall budget;

[0048] Algorithm 2 is used in the second stage of the auction. The access node puts forward corresponding quotations based on the overall budget of each micro-cloud obtained in the first stage, and then conducts auction transactions with the micro-cloud. If the access node wins the micro-cloud resource, the micro-cloud is deployed on the access node for use by mobile users connected to it.

[0049] In the third stage, the access node that won the micro-cloud resources in the second stage distributes the resources in the micro-cloud on demand (the load of the mobile user) to the mobile users who contributed in the first stage (contribution amount is greater than 0).

Abstract

In mobile cloud computation, a mobile user can significantly improve the own system efficiency and reduce the time delay of a task by migrating a computation-centralized or delay-sensitive task on own mobile devices to a nearby microcloud and executing the task. Under such a background, how to place the microcloud and allocate resources therein to the mobile user is very important. In an ordinary resource auctioning method, a one-to-one situation is usually considered, namely a mobile user is matched with a microcloud; however, a single user is usually difficult to pay the price of the microcloud, and the resources in the microcloud are far more than needs of an individual user, so that a one-on-one approach seriously affects the allocating efficiency of the resources. According to the invention, an idea of group purchase is introduced, the mobile users in an access node are organized into a whole and then participate in auction as the whole; a three-stage auctioning algorithm is designed to solve the problem very well, so that the micorcloud resources can be efficiently and flexibly allocated.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to micro-cloud resource allocation in mobile cloud computing, in particular to auction-based micro-cloud resource allocation. Background technique [0002] Cloud Computing: Cloud computing is Internet-based computing that provides shared computer processing resources and data to computers and devices in need. It is a ubiquitous, on-demand access, shared pool model of configurable computing resources (such as computer networks, servers, storage, applications, and services), which can quickly configure and release resources with minimal management work. Cloud computing and storage solutions provide users and businesses with various functions to store and process their data in third-party data centers far away from users. [0003] Mobile cloud computing: Mobile cloud computing is composed of cloud computing, mobile computing and wireless network, and provides rich computing, storage and other resources for mobile users and network o...
