Abstract

The invention provides a control method of a helium screw compressor. The control method comprises a compressor loading and unloading operation method, a compressor frequency control method and a compressor unit protection method. The compressor loading and unloading operation method is used for realizing loading and unloading operation of the helium screw compressor by a central control room of a large-sized cryogenic system, and is mainly used for sequentially controlling the loading and unloading of a compressor unit instead of taking air suction pressure or air exhaust pressure of the compressor unit as control parameters of loading and unloading a compressor in the operation process of the compressor unit. The frequency of the compressor in the operation process of the whole cryogenic system operation process is controlled by adopting the compressor frequency control method so as to control the flow of helium in the cryogenic system. The compressor unit is protected by adopting the compressor unit protection method, and damage of unit equipment such as a mainframe in an emergency is prevented by adopting the compressor unit protection method. Therefore, reliable operation of the whole cryogenic system can be ensured.
