Problems solved by technology

However, the number of preambles in the network is usually limited, and the reservation of dedicated preambles even reduces the total number of available preambles used by other contention-based access
Therefore, on the one hand, if more preambles are reserved for contention-free access, the usage efficiency of preambles based on contention-based access becomes less
On the other hand, contention-free access for all delay-sensitive services may not have enough preamble
[0017] In addition to the above-mentioned conflict and delay issues, there may also be resources required to support terminal devices requesting resources that exceed the available resources that base station 101 can provide the number of questions
In this case, delay-sensitive resource requests have no advantage over delay-tolerant resource requests

Embodiment Construction

[0081] figure 2 One embodiment of the RA method 200 proposed by the present invention is shown. In a first step 201 of the method 200, at least one terminal device sends a resource request with one or more preambles to the base station within one RA time slot. In a second step 202 of the method 200, the base station detects the priority of the at least one received resource request based on the number of preambles in the at least one resource request. In the third step 203 of the method 200, the base station allocates uplink resources according to the at least one received resource request and the respectively detected at least one priority. If two or more received resource requests include at least one common preamble, the base station allocates uplink resources according to the resource request with the highest priority among the determined resource requests having at least one common preamble. For no common leading resource requests, the base station allocates the uplink...

Abstract

The present invention provides a Random Access (RA) method 200 and a base station, a terminal device and a system participating in carrying out the RA method 200. In the RA method 200, at least one of a plurality of terminal devices 301 transmits a resource request with one or more preambles to a base station 302 during one RA time slot. Thereby, each terminal device 301 is configured to combine more preambles for transmitting a resource request having a higher priority level and fewer preambles for transmitting a resource request having a lower priority level. The base station 302 detects a priority level of the at least one resource request based on the number of preambles in the at least one resource request. Finally, the base station 302 assigns uplink resources according to the at least one resource request and the at least one priority level.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a random access (RA) method, and a base station, a terminal device and a system respectively used for participating in the RA method. In particular, the RA method of the present invention introduces prioritization into the allocation of uplink resources in the wireless network by determining the priority levels of resource requests. The RA method of the present invention can be applied to communication services with different levels of delay requirements and service priorities, especially machine-type communication services, and human-centered communication services. Background technique [0002] Future mobile and wireless communication networks will support various types of services. Individual services have extremely stringent latency requirements, for example, services that enable traffic safety applications. the response time for a terminal device using such a delay-sensitive service, i.e. the time period from the...
