Abstract

The present invention discloses an entity linking method and apparatus. The method comprises: acquiring a to-be-linked entity set of a digital resource, and for each entity in the entity set, generating a candidate entity set corresponding to each entity in a given knowledge library; according to an exact attribute, a fuzzy attribute and a related entity of each candidate entity in the candidate entity set, calculating correlation between each entity and each candidate entity in the candidate entity set corresponding to the entity; and obtaining a linked entity of a current entity according to the correlation between a current entity and each candidate entity thereof and a quantity of the candidate entities corresponding to the entity. In the method, entity linking is performed according to knowledge about entities, so that semantic exactness of entity disambiguation is improved; and quatization is performed by means of the correlation, and a semantic relationship between entities in a same text is mined, so that the to-be-linked entity can be efficiently acquired from the digital resource and the to-be-linked entity is linked to the entity in the given knowledge library.
