Abstract

The embodiments of the invention propose an indicating light state identification method, comprising: acquiring an image containing the indicating light; determining the colors of the indicating light in the image and the magnitude of the pixels of the indicating light; in a preset template of color base, matching the colors of the indicating light; and according to the matching result and the magnitude of the pixels of the indicating light, identifying the state of the indicating light. According to the embodiments of the invention, it is possible to acquire an image containing the indicating light through an image acquisition device and to determine the colors of the indicating light and the magnitude of the pixels of the indicating light through a processing system. In the template of color base, the colors of the indicating light are matched and processed. Based on the matching result and the magnitude of the pixels of the indicating light, the state of the indicating light can be identified; therefore, the automatic detection of the indicating light state can be realized so that the fault and the abnormal condition of the device can be spotted instantly. When a fault is spotted in the indicating light, repairmen are notified to deal with the fault, therefore, saving the human resource cost.
