Abstract

A knee replacement assembly for a patient's knee comprising a tibia and a femur is disclosed. An assembly may include a tool (10), a first attachment (90), and a second attachment (100). The tool may include a tibial component (14) configured for placement against the tibia and a femoral component (16) configured for placement against the femur. The femoral component is movably coupled to the tibial component to place the patient's knee joint in tension by separating the tibia and femur. The first attachment is removably coupleable to the tibial component of the tool. The second attachment can be referenced to the first attachment and can have a reference indicator (114A, 114B) that calibrates the femur for determining the size of the femur.
