Abstract

A lock device 1 is provided with: a latch 10 with which a striker 2 engages; a ratchet 11 engaging with the latch 10 and preventing the latch 10 from moving to an unlock position; a lever 12 for moving the ratchet 11 to a release position at which the latch 10 is released; an actuator 13 including a motor 23 for operating the lever 12; a base 14 for supporting the latch 10, the ratchet 11, the lever 12, and the actuator 13; and a case 15 affixed to the base 14 and housing at least the actuator 13 between the case 15 and the base 14. The case 15 is integrally provided with a mounting section 44 to which an operation member 16 is mountable, the operation member 16 being connected to the lever 12 and enabling the lever 12 to be operated manually.
