Abstract
The invention discloses a method for protecting and using spiders to prevent and treat rice pests. The method comprises the steps of (1) planting a spider shelter, wherein herba cepbalanoplosis segeti and sonchus brachyotus are planted on ridges of a rice field, the planting width is 35-45 centimeters, and a shelter zone is formed so that spiders can have a migration place after harvest of the rice field is completed; (2) trapping the spiders, wherein after wheat in the rice field is harvested, rice straws, the herba cepbalanoplosis segeti and the sonchus brachyotus are tied up into cone-shaped trapping heaps, ten trapping heaps are used in per mu of the rice field and are evenly distributed in the rice field, the rice field is irrigated, the spiders enter the trapping heaps, and after 12 hours, the trapping heaps in the rice field are collected; (3) assisting the spiders in migrating, wherein the collected trapping heaps in thestep (2) are evenly placed on the shelter zone in the step (1) and are broken up, so that the spiders on the trapping heaps enter the shelter zone in the step (1); (4) spider migrating; wherein field pest generation conditions are investigated periodically after rice is transplanted, when the delphacidae number in the field reaches 300-500 heads per hundred caves, the shelter zone in the step (1) is destroyed, and the spiders are compelled to migrate to the rice field.
