The method comprises the steps of (1) obtaining working state data corresponding to the scanning type infrared earth sensor in different time periods; (2) obtaining ranges corresponding to motor current data and radiation intensity data respectively in different time periods; (3) equally dividing each of the ranges corresponding to the radiation intensity data and the motor current data into a plurality of data intervals, and obtaining a radiation intensity data frequency and amotor current data frequency corresponding to each data interval in different time periods; (4) obtaining a negative logarithm corresponding to each radiation intensity data frequency, and obtaininga negative logarithm corresponding to each motor current data frequency; (5) obtaining a distance index of negative logarithms of radiation intensity data frequencies of two adjacent time periods, andobtaining distance index of negative logarithms of motor current data frequencies of two adjacent time periods; and (6) analyzing a working state of the scanning type infrared earth sensor.
