Abstract

The invention provides a method and device for detecting the quality of an ECG signal. The method includes: performing energy envelope extraction on an ECG signal; performing a differential operationon the energy envelope; counting the number of zero-crossing points within a window by in a segmenting mode; and determining the quality of the signal according to a threshold. By using the energy envelope difference method, the method correlates the number of zero-crossing points with the quality of the ECG signal, that is, the quality of the ECG signal can be determined only by counting the number of zero-crossing points of the differential data, thereby achieving accurate determination of the quality of the ECG signal; compared with the traditional ECG quality analysis algorithm which has high complexity and must rely on strong hardware resources to achieve accurate determination of the quality of the ECG signal, this algorithm is simple and easy to implement and has low computational complexity.
