Abstract

The invention discloses a double-source triggering type vehicle emergency help-calling system and method based on a smartphone APP. The method includes: acquiring vehicle acceleration data, namely theoperation state, and a sound signal that whether an airbag is popped up through an acceleration sensor and a sound sensor of a smartphone; performing assessment by employing the APP, comparing the acquired sound data and the vehicle acceleration data with the predefined vehicle operation state and the sound signal, and determining whether a traffic accident occurs and whether an emergency help-call is triggered; and if yes, performing the emergency help-calling, locating a rescue center closest to the position of a vehicle by employing a GPS module, and emitting the emergency help-call to therescue center through a wireless communication module (preferably a 4G module) to realize automatic emergency help-calling during occurrence of the accident. According to the system and method, the operation state of the vehicle is monitored and assessed in real time through the smartphone APP, and the emergency help-call can be automatically emitted through the smartphone when victims are unconsciousness or unable to call for help.
