Abstract

The invention provides a Raman spectrum analysis apparatus and a method thereof. The apparatus comprises a chromatobar, a chromatography cylinder, a clamping device and a Raman spectrometer, wherein the chromatobar is coated with a solid-phase adsorbing material as a chromatographic material; the chromatography cylinder is used for containing a developing solvent; the clamping device is used for fixing the chromatobar at a position to be tested; and the Raman spectrometer is used for scanning chromatogram points of the chromatobar and carrying out Raman spectrum analysis. Laser of the Raman spectrometer is facing towards the chromatobar. The method comprises the following steps: a sample is spotted to a sample spotting area positioned at one end of the chromatobar; the chromatobar is placed into the chromatography cylinder containing the developing solvent such that the sample spotting area is positioned above the liquid level of the developing solvent, and the sample undergoes chromatographic separation; and through the direction of the laser of the Raman spectrometer and relative motion of a mobile device, the chromatobar is moved or rotated after chromatographic separation suchthat the Raman spectrometer conducts scanning of Raman spectrum. The apparatus and the method of the invention are helpful for realizing efficient, fast and interference-free chromatographic separation.
