Abstract

The scald ointment is prepared from the following components: sodium dodecyl sulfate, glycerin, ginger juice, stearyl alcohol, liquid paraffin and Vaseline. The preparation method comprises the following steps: making ginger into ginger juice, mixing three oil-phase substances such as the stearyl alcohol, the liquid paraffin and the Vaseline, and heating the mixture in a water bath to dissolve the mixture; heating the water-phase sodium dodecyl sulfate, glycerin and ginger juice in a water bath to dissolve toa temperature being the same as that of an oil phase; slowly pouring the oil phase into a water phase, slowly stirring the mixed ointment uniformly at room temperature, and cooling into ointment. Theaim of prolong the shelf life of the ginger juice scald ointment prepared by the method can be fulfilled without adding any preservative or other bacteriostatic agents. The prepared ointment can rapidly diminish swelling, relieve pain, achieve the effects of antisepsis and bacteriostasis, promote tissue regeneration and weave skin; moreover, the product is low in raw material cost, is simple in preparation process, and is convenience and safe to use.
