Embodiment Construction

[0034] The technical solutions of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0035] The scheme of the present invention is applied in such as figure 1 In the multi-broadband MIMO system shown, considering that the current multi-level codebook algorithm has a too low acceptance signal-to-noise ratio in the initial beam search stage, the present invention will use the spatial information of the microwave system to assist the establishment of millimeter-wave links, especially for Analog or hybrid beamforming mmWave systems to find optimal transmit and receive beam pairs. Since the microwave system antenna is not equipped with a large-scale antenna array, it is assumed to have a narrow-band MIMO channel and a traditional all-digital structure. Both microwave and mmWave systems will use a uniform linear array (ULA) at both the transmit and receive ends. For convenience of description, the figur...

Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of wireless communication, and specifically relates to a user grouping method based on out-of-band space information in a multi-user millimeter wave system. In order to solve the problems of large energy consumption and time consumption in a multi-user beam selection process in the multi-user millimeter wave system, and low signal to noise ratio at an initial beam search stage, the user grouping method based on out-of-band space information is provided. The out-of-band space information is fully used via a grouping strategy, the search range is compressed on a base station side, and beam search is performed within a more accurate initial range. At a user side, the strategy of keeping the silence of a non-present group search sub-frame is used for reducing the receiving beam search times and reducing the energy consumption of the user. Similarly, benefiting from the grouping strategy, in a feedback process, the user only needs to feed back the corresponding beam matching information in the corresponding search sub-frames, thereby removing the drawbacks of more redundant information feedback in the traditional search method, reducing the feedback cost and improving the system efficiency.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of wireless communication, and relates to millimeter-wave communication (Millimeter-Wave (mmWave) Communication), beam selection technology, and multiple input multiple output (Multiple Input Multiple Output, MIMO) technology, specifically to multi-user millimeter wave A user grouping method based on out-of-band spatial information in the system. Background technique [0002] With the development of wireless communication, millimeter wave (Millimeter wave (mmWave)) is considered to be one of the core technology candidates for next-generation wireless communication technology, which can greatly broaden the available spectrum resources. However, compared with traditional microwave frequencies, A key challenge in using the mmWave frequency band is its severe signal propagation loss. To compensate for such losses, large antenna arrays can be employed to achieve high power gains. Fortunately, due to the small w...
