Abstract

The invention provides a resource reconfiguration method and a corresponding device. The method disclosed by the invention comprises the steps of at a controller used for managing a baseband unit (BU)pool, determining a system state and a resource usage condition of the BU pool; based on the system state and the resource usage condition, marking resources needed to be reconfigured, wherein the resources are selected from a virtual machine running in a server of the BU pool or a processing module in an accelerator of the BU pool; determining an address of a target device with the resources, wherein the target device is selected from the server or the accelerator in the BU pool; and instructing the target device to reconfigure the resources. According to the scheme, all the resources can bereconfigured in a cloud RAN.
