Abstract

The invention relates to a method for preparing hot drinks, in particular coffee. The method comprises the following steps of preparing a water of a proper amount in a storage device; increasing the temperature of the water amount taken out from the storage device; conveying the amount of the heated water to a hot drink raw material; wherein the amount of water required for the predetermined amount of the hot drink to be prepared is taken out from the storage device. The invention further relates to a device for preparing hot drinks. The device comprises a storage device for containing water,a heating mechanism for heating water taken out from the storage device; a storage mechanism for storing the hot drink raw materials; and a control mechanism, which causes the amount of water requiredfor preparing a predetermined amount of hot drinks from the storage device, controls the heating mechanism to heat the amount of water taken out and controls the heated water to be conveyed to the hot drink raw material.
