Abstract

The invention provides an overspeed protection method and device for a train. The method comprises the following steps of obtaining an initial speed limit position point of each speed limit area in apreset number of speed limit areas and a first speed limit value corresponding to each initial speed limit position point when an emergency braking of the train is triggered to obtained a plurality offirst speed limit values; obtaining the current driving position of the train and the corresponding second speed limit value, and obtaining the current driving speed of the train; determining the initial speed limit position point corresponding to a deceleration that satisfies a preset condition in the deceleration of a current driving speed relative to each first speed limit value as a target speed limit position point; determining an emergency braking speed according to the deceleration of the train based on the second speed limit value and the first speed limit value corresponding to the target speed limit position point, and conducting overspeed protection on the train according to the emergency braking speed. The method and device can effectively improve the accuracy of the emergencybraking speed calculation, reduce the calculation period, improve the driving safety and efficiency of the train, and improve the user's riding experience.
