Abstract

Described herein is a hairdryer (1) including: - a casing (2); - a flow duct (4) provided within the casing (2) and having an intake port (4IN) and a delivery port (40UT); - a motor unit (8) includingan electric motor (M); - at least one rotor (6), which can be driven in rotation by the electric motor (M) and is configured for sucking in an air flow through the intake port (4IN) and sending it into the flow duct (4) towards the delivery port (40UT); and - at least one electrical resistance (10, 12) inserted in the aforesaid flow duct (4) and configured for heating the air flow taken in by theaforesaid rotor (6). The above at least one electrical resistance (10, 12) is coated with electrically insulating material, and the motor unit (8) includes a watertight casing (16) housing the electric motor (M).
