Abstract

The invention discloses a magnetic particle filter. The magnetic particle filter comprises an outer wall and an inner wall. The inner wall is located in the outer wall. Multiple pore passageways communicating with a filter inlet and an outlet are formed on the inner wall. A magnet capable of attracting a magnetic catalyst material is arranged in the filter. Different from common active regenerative DPF, the filter does not need to provide extra energy, soot particles in exhaust can be adsorbed, and catalyst particles carried by the exhaust can be captured as well; the multiple pore passagewaysare adopted, the geometric surface area of the filter can be increased, when the particles in the exhaust flow in the pore passageways, the particles are disposed on the wall faces of the pore passageways, meanwhile the magnetic catalyst material can be attracted by the magnet in the magnetic particle filter, and therefore the filter function is played.
