Three variables, namely the arrival rate of traditional bicycles, the arrival rate of electric bicycles and the direction coefficient of left-turn bicycles in the left-turn phase red light time are used to make regression predictions of the expansion extent of the left-turn bicycle traffic flow.An influence model of the expansion extent of the left-turn bicycle traffic flow on the left-turn motor vehicle form delay is established. A correction model of the traffic capacity of left-turn motorvehicles at different intersection roads and traffic conditions is proposed. According to the application, the method is accurate for calculating the traffic capacity of left-turn vehicles, is conducive to the improvement of the traffic flow operating efficiency at signalized intersections in cities in China, and is of great significance for the rational evaluation of intersection construction benefits, allocation of space-time resources at intersections, and alleviation of urban traffic congestion.
