The method comprises the following steps that when a barrier gate receives an opening signal, if the opening signal is not sent by a controller, the controller judges whether a triggering signal is sent by a controller of the other side to a sense coil trigger or not; if yes, the barrier gate opening signal is a legal signal, the barrier gate continues to be opened; andif no, the barrier gate triggering signal is an illegal signal. Through the judging method and system, whether the opening signal of the barrier gate on the single-barrier-gate in-out mixed lane is illegal signal or not can be judged, and safe using of the barrier gate is ensured.
