Abstract

The invention belongs to the technical field of databases, and particularly relates to a scheduling method for a query queue in a database system. For executing the given query queue in a shortest time as far as possible, the method comprises the following steps of (1) obtaining response time tqi during separate running of a query and response time tqi / qj during simultaneous running of every two queries in a database; (2) building a query combination similarity prediction model; and 3) scheduling the given query queue W={<qi,wi>|i=1,2,...,N} based on the query combination similarity predictionmodel. A scheduler provided by the invention can automatically execute a scheduling algorithm after any query is finished; the scheduling algorithm is finer in granularity; and the given query queuecan be executed in a shorter time.
