Abstract

The embodiment of the invention provides a fault playback method and device, which relates to the field of information technology and can solve problems that real-time fault playback cannot be performed and that the reuse rate of a fault template is low when fault playback is performed. The fault playback method comprise the steps that a terminal adds a fault agent to an application program according to process identification of the application program, and starts the fault agent; the terminal receives a fault template sent by a fault center; the terminal modifies the application program through the fault agent and the fault template; and the terminal receives a fault playback instruction of the fault center so as to run the modified application program. The embodiment of the invention isapplied to a scene in which a distributed system performs fault playback.
