Embodiment Construction

[0036] The specific implementation manners of the present invention will be further described in detail below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

[0037] The present invention designs a multivariate LDPC code decoding method based on the effective concentration criterion, which is used to realize the decoding of the received multivariate LDPC code message by the decoder at the receiving end, such as figure 1 shown, including the following steps:

[0038] Step A. Construct a set of message vectors from the variable node set V to the check node set C in the multivariate LDPC code message Then initialize n v =n c =R, and the number of decoding iterations I=1, and enter step B; wherein, r∈{1,...,R}, R=M×N, M represents the number of variable nodes in the multivariate LDPC code message variable node set V , N represents the number of check nodes in the multivariate LDPC code message check node set C, and R represents the set of message vectors from the variable node...

Abstract

The invention relates to a multivariate LDPC code decoding method based on an effective concentration criterion. After extended min-sum decoding is subjected to multiple times of iteration operation, effective likelihood values of message vectors gradually concentrate on a small part of symbols of a galois field, the effective concentration criterion is proposed by means of the characteristic, andin the iteration process, the effective concentration criterion is added for judging and shortening the message vector processing length in the variable node substep and the verification node substep. According to the method, the complexity of decoding operation is effectively reduced on the premise that the performance is not lost, and therefore the method can be effectively applied to a high-throughput communication system based on a multivariate LDPC code.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a multi-element LDPC code decoding method based on an effective concentration criterion, and belongs to the technical field of communication. Background technique [0002] Since the discovery of LDPC codes, multivariate LDPC codes have been widely concerned due to their excellent error control performance and ability to resist burst errors. However, the high complexity of decoding operations has always restricted the practical application of multivariate LDPC codes. In order to reduce the decoding complexity of multivariate LDPC codes, someone proposed extended minimum sum decoding by extending the message to the log likelihood ratio domain and shortening the length of the message vector. The computational complexity of extended minimum sum decoding decreases as the length of the message vector decreases, but if the length of the message vector is too short, the performance loss will be very large. Therefore, how to reduce the...
