The accelerometer (102) is configured to obtain and buffer at least one acceleration value representing acceleration of the automatic door. The at least one processor (302) is configured to cause the control unit (104) at least to perform: read and store the obtained at least one accelerationvalue from the internal buffer (202) of the accelerometer (102), and generate at least one piece of information representing the condition of the automatic door for communicating the generated at least one piece of information to an external server (402).
