Abstract

The present invention discloses a camera parameter calibration method and system under the condition of the long-distance large field of view. The calibration method comprises: capturing a mark platecarried by the drone by using a binocular imaging system to obtain a mark image, wherein the mark plate is provided with a mark point, and the drone is flying under the condition of the long-distancelarge field of view of the binocular imaging system; determining a basic matrix of the binocular imaging system according to the mark image; determining an equivalent focal length of the binocular imaging system according to the basic matrix; determining an essential matrix of the binocular imaging system according to the basic matrix; determining a rotation matrix and a translation vector of thebinocular imaging system according to the essential matrix; and optimizing the equivalent focal length, the rotation matrix, and the translation vector according to a least squares fitting method to obtain optimized camera parameters. By using the calibration method and system provided by the present invention, the internal and external parameters of the camera can be calibrated at a low cost under the condition of the long-distance large field of view.
