Embodiment Construction

[0018] The present invention will be further elaborated below in conjunction with the accompanying drawings and specific embodiments.

[0019] Such as figure 2 As shown, the present invention is a 3D-HEVC fast transcoding method based on an unbalanced quadtree. Aiming at the quadtree coding structure adopted in 3D-HEVC, a fast selection method of CTU division depth range is designed. In actual use, the HTM16.0 encoder will call the method of the present invention to complete specific encoding work. The concrete steps of the inventive method are as follows:

[0020] Step 1: Take out the CTU to be transcoded from the video sequence to be transcoded;

[0021] Step 2: If the image of the CTU to be transcoded is a texture image, use min L_Texture ,max L_Texture with max H_Texture , min H_Texture There is a correlation between them, and it is determined that the coding unit division depth range of the CTU is [maximum(min H_Texture -1,0),minimum(max H_Texture +1,3)], please...

Abstract

The invention discloses a 3D-HEVC fast transcoding method based on an unbalanced quadtree, which utilizes the correlation between the coding unit division depth information in the encoded high-resolution code stream and the CTU division depth in the reduced-size video, as well as the texture map and depth The correlation between the maximum division depths of CTUs is shown in Fig. 1. By reducing the selection range of CTU division depths and skipping the unnecessary division depth rate-distortion cost calculation process, the 3D-HEVC transcoding process is accelerated. By adopting the technical solution of the present invention, while ensuring the video quality, an average of 25.88% of encoding time can be saved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the field of video transcoding, and relates to a 3D-HEVC fast transcoding method based on an unbalanced quadtree. Background technique [0002] With the increasing development of video technology, 3D video has become a research hotspot in the industry and academia due to its sense of presence and interaction, and the 3D-HEVC video coding standard came into being. On the other hand, with the development of information technology, various types of handheld terminal devices have become a necessity in people's lives due to their portability. The coexistence of multiple video coding standards, heterogeneous networks, and the diversity of terminal equipment and video formats lead to compatibility issues between terminal equipment, networks, and original video formats. Video transcoding is a technology that can effectively solve this compatibility problem. In order to adapt 3D video to real-time applications of various types of hand...
