The eyelid spreader comprises a mounting cover and two spreading plates, and is characterized in that one end of a driving shaft which is rotationally supported on a side of the mounting cover extends intothe mounting cover and is connected with a driving bevel gear in a non-rotational manner, the other end of the driving shaft is arranged outside the mounting cover, a hand wheel is connected with theother end of the driving shaft, and a non-return mechanism is arranged between the driving shaft and the mounting cover; support seats are connected onto the inner wall of the mounting cover and are positioned on two sides of the driving bevel gear, transmission mechanisms are arranged between the support seats and two sides of the mounting cover and are in transmission connection with the drivingbevel gear, connecting rods are connected onto the transmission mechanisms, two slide grooves are formed in the side wall, which is far away from the driving shaft, of the mounting cover, an end of each connecting rod penetrates the corresponding slide groove to extend out of the mounting cover, and the spreading plates are detachably connected onto the connecting rods by clamping mechanisms in aback-to-back manner.
