The method comprises the steps of obtaining ball identifiers and position information of multiple billiard balls onthe current table surface of a billiard table, pocket opening identifiers and position information of pocket openings, and determining at least one ball hitting route corresponding to the current table surface, wherein the ball hitting route at least comprises a target ball corresponding to the ball hitting route, the pocket opening identifier of the target pocket opening and/or a ball hitting parameter; according to the position information of the billiard balls on the current table surface, the position information of the target ball of the ball hitting route and the position information ofthe target pocket opening, calculating an expected income value corresponding to each ball hitting route; and according to the expected income value, determining the target ball hitting route in theat least one ball hitting route, and outputting the target ball hitting route. By adopting the method, the accuracy and operability of ball hitting route recommendation in a billiard ball auxiliary process can be improved.
