In one implementation, the messages are sent to the server in a point-to-point communication session. The message includes a care-of-address of the first network interface (eg, a wireless network interface) and a care-of-address of a second network interface (eg, a wired network interface). The care-of-address of the first network interface is the current care-of-address in use in the communication session and the care-of-address of the second network interface is the new care-of-address to which the device (eg, mobile node) will transfer (eg, handover).
