Abstract

The invention belongs to the field of chemical analysis of tobaccos, and particularly relates to a method for measuring a pH value of mainstream full smoke of cigarettes. The technical problem that the pH value of the mainstream smoke of the cigarette cannot be completely collected by adoption of conventional measurement in the prior art is solved. The method comprises the following steps: smoking10 to 60 cigarettes by using a smoking machine under a standard smoking condition, and capturing the mainstream full smoke by adopting an XAD-2 suction pipe and a series cold trap device; taking outa suction agent in the XAD-2 suction pipe, and performing oscillating extraction to obtain an extracting solution; combining sucked liquid in all series suction bottles in the series cold trap device,combining the combined sucked liquid and the extracting solution to obtain a combined solution; measuring the combined solution with a precision pH meter, thereby obtaining the pH value of the mainstream full smoke of the cigarettes. By use of three capturing modes of solid particle suction, solvent capturing and cold trap capturing, the method is better in capturing effect and can reflect the pHvalue of the mainstream full smoke of the cigarettes more accurately.
