Abstract

The invention provides a data transmission method and system. The method comprises the following steps: establishing a neighbor table for each node, wherein the neighbor table comprises energy information of all neighbor nodes of the node; acquiring all neighbor nodes with residual energy greater than the energy threshold from the neighbor table corresponding to a to-be-sent node, and acquiring the neighbor node with the least hop count to a destination node from all neighbor nodes with residual energy greater than the energy threshold, serving the acquired neighbor node as a transmission node, and sending the data to the transmission node. The residual energy of the neighbor node and the hop count to the destination node are both taken into consideration when selecting the transmission node; when the residual energy of the neighbor node is less than the energy threshold, the operation of transmitting the data through the node is avoided, thereby preventing the node from entering a dormancy state since the node is frequently selected; and the survival time of the network is prolonged.
