The page data caching method comprises the steps of under the condition of assessing a website, retrieving a fixed area according to the identifier information of the website, and retrieving a high-priority area and a low-priority area according to a first pointing address and a second pointing address of first page data cached in the fixed area; in response to the condition that cached data does not exist in the fixed area, caching the page data of the website; and in response to the condition that the high-priority area and the low-priority area have the cached page data, judging that whether the page data is the newest data according to the update timefield of the current page of the website; and in response to the condition that the page data is not the newest data, caching the page data of the website. Therefore, through dividing the cache areaand caching the page data in the different cache areas by using an optimization strategy, the efficient cache reading and writing are achieved and the storage space is saved.
