Abstract

The disclosure provides a display panel and a preparation method thereof, and a display device, belonging to the technical field of display panel manufacturing. The preparation method of the display panel comprises the following steps: forming a protective layer on a first preset area of a base substrate; forming a pixel driving circuit in an area where the base substrate is not covered by the protective layer; forming a display device layer, and the display device layer covers at least the protective layer and the pixel driving circuit; opening a through hole penetrating the base substrate ina second preset area of the display device layer, wherein the second preset area is located within an outer edge of a projection of the protective layer on the display device layer; and peeling the protective layer. The display panel prepared by the preparation method of the display panel can be effectively packaged; and the quality and life of the display panel are improved.
